Sanket Pund’s journey begins in Amravati, where he grew up as a carefree and fun loving boy who never took life too seriously. He was the classic backbencher who enjoyed his own world, connected easily with people, and made friends everywhere he went.
His interests in travelling, trekking, cricket, and gaming shaped his early personality and gave him confidence. During his 11th and 12th, he even joined a dance group, a phase that brought joy and excitement, but due to a crisis in the group he had to step away, learning early that not everything we love stays forever. At the same time, people around him often teased him about not having a girlfriend, but Sanket Pund was never interested in distractions. While others were exploring teenage relationships, he remained focused on sports, friends, and living life in his own simple way.
After completing junior college, he joined BSc Computer Science and built new friendships, made countless memories, and enjoyed multiple trips. But during lockdown, PUBG became a major addiction and consumed most of his time. When lockdown ended, Sanket Pund took his first real job at a factory, working sincerely, but soon realised that earning five to ten thousand rupees per month would never allow him to build a stable or meaningful future. That moment became a turning point where he understood that he needed to step out and change his life completely. After a discussion with a friend, he took a bold step and moved to Pune within just two days. He stayed at a friend’s room first, then rented his own space, and joined coding classes like Java and C++. But his mind never connected with coding; the interest was missing, and the results weren’t coming. While searching for jobs, he faced multiple rejections because of the educational gap after graduation. Even call center jobs rejected him or offered extremely low salaries that barely covered rent and daily expenses. It was a frustrating time, filled with self-doubt and uncertainty about the future.
Then one day, everything shifted. He received a call from a consultancy offering a job opportunity. After a small phone round and HR discussion, they scheduled an interview. Despite reaching late because of public transport delays, Sanket Pund completed all rounds, including a senior round and a director round, staying at the office until 10:30 pm, even having lunch and dinner there. Finally, he was selected, and that became his first real breakthrough.
He joined the company starting with operations work, handling small tasks, maintenance and procurement. Later, he moved into the backend team and eventually transitioned into the social media department, which became the real turning point of his career. There, he learned client servicing, digital systems, and how to help brands grow online, discovering the field where he truly belonged. After around seven months in Pune, the entire company shifted to Dubai. This move transformed his life.
He worked from Dubai, explored the city deeply, attended the GITEX Expo, discovered global technologies, and even represented his company at the One Billion Followers Summit with their own kiosk. Dubai soon became his second home, and his love for the city grew even stronger. He travelled to Oman by road, explored the country, and experienced a new culture closely. From Amravati to factory work, from Pune’s struggles to Dubai’s international opportunities, Sanket Pund’s story is one of resilience, bold decisions, and unstoppable growth, proving that life truly changes for those who keep moving forward.
